Protea sulphurea
Protea Sulphurea is an incredibly rare and unique form of Protea that is endemic to the Western Cape province of South Africa where it grows in the fynbos vegetation. It is a low growing shrub with foliage that colour shifts throughout the year with vibrant pastel tones. The flower heads are pendulous and are brightly coloured making it both stunning and peculiar. Its brightly-coloured pink bracts come to life during the cooling autumn – winter season.
