Proteaceae Family

Mimetes is an often forgotten member of the Proteaceae family, having some of the more difficult and particular varieties to grow and propagate. Housing just thirteen species, the genus is defined by its flower formation where the leaves at the top of the stem are subtending the flower head in a unique and exotic structure.
